J. J. White has written eight novels and over two hundred short stories. He has had articles and stories published in several anthologies and magazines, including, Wordsmith, The Homestead Review, The Seven Hills Review,  Akashic Press, Writers Digest, and The Grey Sparrow Journal. His story, “The Adventures of the Nine Hole League” was recently published in the Sherlock Holmes Mystery Magazine, #13. his story, "Lucky Bastard Club," was included in the Saturday Evening Post Great American Fiction Anthology

He has won awards and honors from the Alabama Writers Conclave, Writers-Editors International, Maryland Writers Association, The Royal Palm Literary Awards, Professional Writers of Prescott, and Writer’s Digest. His novel Nisei recently won the Grand Prize in the Columbus Creative Cooperative Great Novel competition. He was recently nominated for the Pushcart Prize for his short piece in The Grey Sparrow Journal. He lives in Merritt Island, Florida with his lovely and understanding wife, Pamela.
